East Avenue Medical Center

A 600-bed, tertiary, general hospital under the Department of Health. It has the primary goal of providing quality medical care and treatment to patients irrespective of sex, socio-economic status and religious creed.

Designated by the DOH as a training and teaching center, the hospital provides appropriate training programs, materials and facilities that aim at providing its medical and non-medical staff with opportunities for professional development and competency-building. Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery

Became independent and distinct from Ophthalmology in 1984. Two years later, it became the first ORL-HNS department under the Department of Health to be fully accredited by the Philippine Board of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

It is currently the largest ORL-HNS training program under the Department of Health in the Philippines.

Temporal Bone Course Manila

The Temporal Bone Course is currently on its 24th year. The first dissection course was held in 1992 under the leadership and supervision of its Otology Section head, Dr. Natividad Almazan.

Each year, delegates from all over the Philippines participate in this course. This is the first time that this event is being opened to foreign delegates.
